Longshore third party and 905b claims under maritime law
A lot of individuals call our office that are known as longshoremen. They've had their employer pay benefits under what's called the Longshore Act. Well, it's very important that if you're a longshoreman and you've been injured you need to speak with a very good maritime lawyer. There's a law that allows you to file a claim as a longshoreman against your employer if it owned or operated the vessel you were on. You can also file what are called third party cases if you're an injured longshoreman. These are claims that are filed under a law known as 905(b) of the Longshore Act. You don't need to worry about the law. Just call us so that we can tell you what your rights are if you're an injured longshoreman.
