905b Claims for Longshoremen

A lot of individuals call our office who are known as longshoreman. They’ve had their employer pay benefits under what’s called the Longshore Act. Well, it’s very important that if you’re a longshoreman and you’ve been injured you need to speak with a very good maritime lawyer. There’s a law that allows you to file a claim as a longshoreman against your employer if it owned or operated the vessel you were on. You can also file what are called third-party cases if you’re an injured longshoreman. These are claims that are filed under a law known as 905B of the Longshore Act.
