September 1, 2011 - New Orleans, La. - This fall, New Orleans will see thousands of visitors in town for 2 unique maritime industry conferences.
Biz Tradeshows has released the information for a pair of events geared toward work boats and offshore technology that could be very interesting to those employed in maritime fields.
The first trade show, Deep Offshore Technology International Conference & Exhibition, will take place from October 11th to October 13th at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside. The 3-day conference will focus on the technical issues regarding offshore oil and gas production in the deepwater basins across the globe. Exhibitors will be there to showcase new technology developments, equipment and procedures.
The second trade show, The International Workboat Show, will take place from November 30th to December 2nd at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Exhibitors will be showcasing the latest in canoeing and sailing vessels and discussing export and import of equipment. Many maritime workers are involved in the dockside manufacture, testing and transport of these vessels and may be able to learn some valuable information here!
